Funeral Services for Mr. Dwayne A. Kelley, Sr. of Merry Point, Virginia were held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 11 A. M. at the Church of Deliverance of Lively, Virginia with Pastor Donald Conaway, Officiating.

Dwayne Kelley, Sr., son of Minister Charles Ball, Sr. and Hazel Ball of Lancaster, Virginia, was born July 2, 1960.

He was educated in the public schools of Lancaster County, Virginia. For many years was employed in the seafood industry, working for RCV Seafood and at Captain Tomís Seafood until his health began to decline.

Dwayne married the former Mamie (Donna) Noel.

Dwayne was a loving and caring person, who loved to make you laugh. He was always jovial and had a kind word for those in his presence.

On Monday, March 15, 2010, God in His infinite wisdom, called his son, Dwayne Kelley, Sr., home to be with Him, joining his family members who have traveled before including: his grandmother, Allie Kelley, his siblings: Allen Maurice Ball, Jerry Kelley, and his sister-in-law, Joyce Ball.

Cherishing precious memories are: his wife, Mamie (Donna) Noel Kelley of Northumberland, Virginia; his son, Dwayne Kelley, Jr. of Hawaii; his parents, Minister Charles Ball, Sr. and Hazel Ball of Lancaster, Virginia; four sisters: Joyce Anderson of Charlottesville, Virginia; Cynthia Anderson of Charlottesville, Virginia; Stacie Dale of Gloucester, Virginia and Brenda Henry of White Stone, Virginia; two brothers: Anthony Kelley of Merry Point, Virginia and Charles Ball, Jr. of Kilmarnock, Virginia; a brother-in-law, Harold Dale of Gloucester, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Interment services were held at the church cemetery where family and friends served as both floral and pall bearers.

Services of Comfort and Trust entrusted to the Berry O. Waddy Funeral Home, Berry O. Waddy, Manager.
